The food was just ok. But the biggest turnoff is that it took 50 minutes to get our food, they ran out of fries and the overall attitude of the wait staff is just very poor. I will not be going there again.
I was here July 4th, My friend and I checked out most all the restaurants in the Olde City area and every menu was similar to the next. We wanted to see a menu with variety and this is what we found at GiGi's. I had the Crab cakes(Filled with lump crab)..they were big and delicious and the citrus aioli was delicious as well. I also had the best lobster mac and cheese I ever tasted. My friend had the Pork Chop with apple bourbon glaze..the chop was VERY big and so tender the glaze was the perfect compliment. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It is a great neighborhood restaurant. The staff is personable and attentive and the owner was on premises. Have a great dinner..watch the game..chat with the owner. For us it was a great dining experience.
My husband & I were at GIGI on a Friday night. The air conditioning was broken, the bartenders seemed more interested in their girlfriends than customers, the manager was more interested in the Flyers game, and as a result we waited an unreasonable amount of time for our drinks (which were served warm & draft, not bottle as ordered). We ordered 3 small plates which were overpriced and resembled frozen meals out of a microwave. Very disappointing !!
A great place. The food is always great and the staff are very friendly. When you sit down you will look at the menu for ages because it all looks so good! The lucky part is they have a tapas menu so it gives you a chance to try different things. Highly recomended!
