Seldom Blues
Description
Overlooking the Detroit river and Windsor skyline, this restaurant is set on the main level of the Renaissance Center's West Tower, and is elegant but casual all the same. The regulars include a host of local celebrities, prominent business persons and politicians, so be ready to rub shoulders with the glitterati. More famous than the guests, however, is the food. Try AZ's Salmon, or the Lamb Osso Buco in Merlot Sauce with Risotto - it's simply delicious. The Steak Caesar, Steak Porcher and Filet Mignon are a must-have and so are the delicious desserts prepared by Chef Karen Krol. The service can be a little slow as it's always crowded, but don't fret, as the dining experience is worth waiting for. Local and national jazz performances are hosted every night in the main dining area.
