I recently went to Fresco Pizza and Grill and the service and food were exceptional. The pizza was thin crust made with there own pizza sauce. The owner explained to me that it was not made from a can, but from plum tomatoes. They had a pizza called sotosopra that highlighted their great sauce. The wait staff were very polite and curtious. Overall I felt that Fresco is a great restaurant and I would recommend it to any one.
The pizza is good, thin crust, especially their house pizzas, this is a good bet and I have been there many time, usually ordering the Paradiso. The last time I had their pie (and this will be the last time) we ordered a large half pepperoni, half mushroom pie for takeout. When I got there, the price seemed too high and it turns out they charge for each topping ($2), whether you get it on half or the whole pizza. So you are getting cheated when you order a half- and half pie. Furthermore, they charge the same amount for small or large. Let's say you want a small pizza ($8) and then want half pepperoni, half mushroom. You would be charged $4 for your toppings, half as much as the pie itself! The amount of pepperoni and mushroom on my pizza was pitiful as well. When confronted at the register, the person working gave us attitude, to boot! I have worked in pizzerias and have not run into this practice before. So BUYER BEWARE. The Pizza is good, but not that good.
I saw a bug on the desert counter...and there was another one in my food (it was a pick up)!!! When I called them about it they said that it could come from anywhere! I threw my food away and felt disgusted.
When I opened my food box, I was in my car...driving..I hate bugs and trying to get it on the floor was actually a dangerous experience. When I told the manager/owner about this, I guess she thought it was funny and laughed at me on the phone. What a bad reaction.
Make sure there are no bugs in your food before you eat them. IF you find one, don't expect them to do anything about it, they are just going to laugh at you...just throw your food away!
A shame this place went down hill from the time it opened a few years ago. It is just your average pizza joint with high prices ($12.99 plain pie) and okay service. Picked up a pie last week, they forgot to put sauce on it. ??!!? No problem, i called back and they said they would give me $6 off my next order. You know how cheap it is to make a pizza? To keep me happy, they should have redelivered the right pie; no charge.
