This place is totally over rated! I came here with my family because of the recommendation from family members, but they totally disappointed me. When we first arrive, they put us at a table next to their cleaning station, though there are many tables are available at the time. Before I get to request for a change of table, the server had already walked away. The Dim Sum don't taste as good as Ocean City (.5 miles away) I ordered onion pancake which is the most basic Chinese dish, usually about 3-5 bucks around town, they charged me 8 dollars for a smaller portion.
The services could of been better if the servers are better trained. They have more staff than other restaurant, but they are just walking around and doing nothing or pick on their finger nails.
The food here is the closest you'll get to REAL chinese food, Hong Kong Style. The only drawback is that the service is on the slow side. We were seated at 6:30 and ordered right away. Our soup came in a reasonable time about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, despite checking with the server 3x food didn't arrive till 8:00pm They kept saying it was coming. Had I known it would've taken so long, I would have left. This is unacceptable especially with a toddler. My kid sat very very well and played with his matchbox car till 7:45. At which point the waiter said my food was next again, and insisted that it was coming. When it finally came, I can't say the food was bad, but after more than an hour I was ready to head out.
My advice is to go for dim sum and not dinner, unless you can get there before they are busy. It seem their kitchen staff is slow and sort of disorganized when sending out orders.
I would give it 4 stars for food quality. But no stars for service so, and average of 2 stars.
unlike other asian restaurants, the interior designs for this restaurant is very european like, very modernized. the food is excellent, especially seafood and dim sum. although the price is a bit expensive and the dishes are fair but that's ok b/c the customer services and cuisines are excellent. would come back again.
