Great food. Ambience leaves a little to be desired, but food makes up for it.

Will make you slap yourself...your mamma and obama! Word is BORN....best brisket this side of the Universe... Great staff...great margs...o-some music! How can you go wrong?

I have never eaten anything here that I didn't love. I usually get the jerk chicken sandwich, hot link plate, or the friend catfish. They're probably not the healthiest things, but oh so delicious. My friends from the South love the place, so it seems pretty authentic Southern (but not Cajun). The place can get busy and they don't have a whole lot of seating; also, their hours are weird. I'd call ahead and ask when their slow-times are.

Ohhhh the food is soooooo Good! The menue is a hoot. Stop in and take a look for yourself!

Food soooo good, you'll be glad your seated. Knee-buckling good! A must visit if you're within 500 miles of Eugene!

I am from south Georgia and when I found this restaurant if became my favorite place for comfort food. Fried Okra and real sweet tea, collards and black eyed peas, not to mention wonderful BBQ. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good southern dishes.

I was delighted when I dined at this restuarant while visiting Eugene. My only disappointment was the gumbo, but it is really hard to find good gumbo outside of Lousiana! The ribs , potatoe salad,mac & cheese were quite tasty. I would definitely recommend people to eat here and price was very very good!

Real great soul food and barbecue choices. Funky atmosphere, inexpensive fare. Don't go there to drink- go there to eat. Good portions of artery clogging food, so don't go there if you are on a diet.

Get the pulled pork sandwich and tell 'em Mark sent you.
