Piano Bar at Cagney's, Myrtle Beach

got ther eabout 5 pm hostess sits down place empty,we sit at a table for six people.wife asks waitress to move us has an attitude and can not comply has to have hostess re-seat us ,she comes over with a worse additude and change to smaller table.ok so we order apps.shrimp coctail french onion shrimp coctail ok french onoin is not good no depth in broth bread not right and not served in crock pot.o hby the way i am a pro chef on vaca.both had prime rib it was med rare like we ordered but nit slow cooked like they briefly talk about thier food and concetrate about were they got their front door from etc if u r the owners you should give a crap about your food and the children that r serving it .back to food the prime rib fat on the top of the beef is called the cap ours was so ruubery .that it kept wiggling if it was slow cooked it wuold be crispy and very dark.we got what we thougt was a stuffed potatoe the top was so hard we could barley break in to it but when we did there was nothing inside.my wife does not like to start anything and we were just trying to get through the nightmare no veegie served at all like tv advertisement.the most exspensive meal while on vaca tyey also own flamingos grill but was very gun shy about going i can not remember the last time i had an over all bad night out like this one.on a high note go to the carolina road house great place and also the aspen

Still aweful!!! Avoid this place and go a few blocks south to Thoroughbreds. Dave the manager will make your experience great. Better food and service than you would ever get at Cagneys. Never again will I visit this overpriced poor service establishment.

The atmosphere was jazzy. The music was way cool. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. I had the most romantic night at Cagney's. I really can't wait to go back. I would recommend this place. It was worth my time and his money.

A wonderful place on restaurant row. Had the prime rib, it was perfect. Not as pricey as some restaurants and the dinner was great. Nice experience, didn't have to wait as long as some as I called ahead, but they do not take reservations, just call ahead seating.

Salad was limp, like it was pre-made and stored for a day in the fridge. My wife wouldn't eat hers. Steak was okay, bread was stale. Meal was way over priced by normal standards but Myrtle Beach restaurants are overpriced for the most part. Needed ear protection because of the very loud patrons. Could not hear my wife (I'm not hard of hearing) unless she yelled, like all the other patrons. Service was so-so. Overall, was a bad dining experience. Meal was not worth the money and was not fun. Local advertising promises much more than the restaurant delivers. We will never visit again.

I have been here two times and the server you get really makes or breaks the experience. I was dissapointed in almost all aspect of our service including the Managements response. I will not go back to Cagneys again.

(10/22-29,2006) This restaurant is not totally smoke-free but when we asked about a smoking section, we were offered a table by the KITCHEN....which we refused! Although there were lots of available tables, we were seated in the glass area out front and roasted until we asked our server for some air or would have to leave or be embarrassed by peeling off more clothes. Quality of our food was so-so and for the total tab, not really worth the time to visit....the overwhelming smell of bathroom urinals totally turned us off also....we don't plan a return visit.

Apple martinis was the bomb . Shecrab chower is very good

My visit to Cagney's left me rather disappointed. My wife and I were seeking a nice meal early in the evening, so we beat the bulk of the dinner rush. Despite that fact, the service we received was pedestrian. Our server seemed bored and uninterested in her job, and was not very attentive. In my opinion, the food was ordinary. My filet was properly cooked, but I did not find the meat as flavorful as I would expect for the price. My wife was not impressed by her seafood entree either. It wasn't that the food was bad, just that it did not seem to be prepared in a way that justified the price.

The food was really good , you should go at night , adults would enjoy it, the overall experince was delightful
