Portillo's Hot Dogs, Buena Park

If you are looking for a real hot dog go to the alley's in downtown on the weekend and in any of those street stands you are bound to happen a better tasting hot dog. Portillos is wayyy overated.

I would rather go to Weinerschnitzel. Their food tastes MUCH better than this over priced hot dog stand!

$2.50 for an IKEA hot dog. Wwwaayyy overpriced. Just not good.

The first two reviews must be the owners or friends of the owners because the food was awful. I agree with the one who would rather go to Weinersnitzle. A much better and cheaper hot dog

The best Hot Dog EVER, next to the one I had at Wrigley field!!! The prefect breakfast, lunch or dinner from Portillo’s is 2 hot dogs with everything, 1 Italian beef sandwich dipped with hot peppers, and a large ice cold beer. What could beat that? My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it, I think I will stop on my way home from work!!!

Best place for hot dogs! My kids love this place and it's become are weekly family place to go.

I would have to agree with Kev on that one. CA. isn't really known for there beefs and dogs, so if you'd like a taste of Chicago, Portillos will suffice. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but are well known for the beefs w/hot peppers and the dogs. Something these cheap asses in Ca. do is charge extra for the hot peppers on the beefs, which is not an extra fee in Chicago. Yes, I have been to Pinks, and Pinks is good for that late night, OOOOOO is that Brad Pitt sitting there w/his chili cheese fries?? So depending on if you want great taste or star searching will determine where you go...

All though the dogs are the best around the burgers aren't bad at all. This great place to go once in a while since it's a little greesy.

My grandkids love this place. They have a great salad with a funny name.
