I love Wo Hop. The Crabs or Clams in Black Bean Sauce is amazing. The dumplings are awesome. The prices are very reasonable and they are open all night. I admit it is not the most authentic Chinese restaurant in NY City, but I don't want to eat chicken feet or cow intestines anyway.

WoHop is perhaps the worst restaurant in Chinatown, IMHO. The food is vile, greasy, and inauthentic. There are so many other better choices in Chinatown, and even better ones in Queens. It's cheap and the portions are huge, but why bother to eat such bad food when there is really good food only 2-3 blocks away?

i've been going to wo hop for so many years i cannot remember. since my youth as a late night foray for some chinese or a quick meal(lines notwithstanding) any day, yo know what you'll get there and it is why everyone goes and goes back. it is a tradition in nyc.

Good only in the middle of the night when you are starving and there is no other place open. Only americans eat here, you wont see any chinese here. What does that tell you? Of course its cheap but its not the cleanest place in town either.

I LOVE Wo Hop!!! I live in Los Angeles, and anytime I go home to NY, the first place I eat is Wo Hop. It is often crowded, but well worth any wait you may incur. Every dish is absolutely delicious. I have tried to talk friends back east into putting Wo Hop Boneless Chicken and some egg rolls and crispy noodles in a care package to send to me, but they refuse. I miss Wo Hop!!!!

BEST CHINESE AROUND

I live about an hour out of the city and my family and I will drive down on a weeknight just for the steamed dumplings. I have 4 young kids they love it so much they ask to go down for the food like it's right around the corner. Week nights or weekends around 3pm seem like there is never a wait to get in. Totally worth the trip and the wait if there is one. --MT

Best restaurant in Chinatown!

Great food, huge portions, good service, inexpensive. I've been there a few times and can't wait to go back. I think the 4D Lo Mein, Egg Rolls, and Fried Dumplings are the best. I think it's the best restaurant in Chinatown

A Must See...and Taste...in New York

I never miss a visit to the Wo Hop when in New York. It's a wait....but well worth the time spent. Huge portions, great taste, and outstanding value make this the best Chinese food find in the Big Apple

This has to be THE most popular chinese food spot in Manhattan.. The portions are great, very affordable and is absolutely the best tasting food. Absolute MUST to check out. Open Almost 24 X 7
