I'm new to the area and have been trying all of the neighborhood Indian restaurants. So far, India Palace is my favorite, as far as the food goes. My only problem is that the restaurant is not clean. The menus are greasy and the glass tabletops are grimy. The serving dishes themselves haven't been dirty, but I am vaguely disgusted by this restaurant. The food is wonderful, though.
I used to order food from this restaurant regularly. Food used to be above average until one of the hopelessly bad order. Upon bringing it to their attention the guy at the front desk was unapologetic & nonchalant. I am never going to go again after this bad experience.
Best indian in town. Very friendly and they remember their regulars. We go there about once a month or every six weeks and they welcome us and remember my sons name. The food is excellent and the staff are attentive.
Nice for a quiet dinner for two or a family meal. We've been going there since my son was a baby and they give him a cup with a lid for his drink; he used to get a paper plate and plastic spoon too when he was younger.
The buffet is really good and value for money. I prefer the week day buffet(more vegetarian fare) to the week end buffet. The weekend buffet has a lot of Indian snacks that would be a crowd puller. I think their service is pretty good. I have tried their a la carte items and they are quite good, too. The best thing is that you can ask them to alter the spice levels according to your preferences. Good, tasty food..must try!
