La Cofradia Restaurant
Located in a quiet street in fashionable Coral Gables, this is THE place to enjoy the most innovative cuisine in Miami: Mediterranean/Peruvian. The restaurant is a 2850 foot loft-like space that is elegant and intimate despite the size. The high ceilings and dark wood accents go well with the unique lighting and adds to the ambiance. Everything on the menu is fabulous, but the standouts are the braised pork with grapes, the lamb with the risotto, and the seared tuna on a bed of mashed pumpkin with a cilantro drizzle. The wine list is impressive and extensive, but the sommelier is knowledgeable and will help you choose. The service is superb, and you'll never have to ask for anything. Expensive, yes, but so worth it! - Mercedes de Marchena
We reserved a table by phone, but when we arrive the girl at the door told us that there was no reservation at all. She spoke in rude, tough terms, implying that we were lying. It looks they don't know or don't want training their employees about how to treat clients. I don't recommend this place.
