Description

Burgers, shakes and soda, the fast food staples, are all found here at great rates. Shake Shack offers cheerful interiors, bright exteriors and outdoor seating for its patrons hungering for its quick creations. What could be better on a hot, summer day than an iced tea and Ice-cream! The surprise here is the wine. Reds and whites are available by glass and bottle. You can take a draught of icy beer too, as you relax in their happy, family-friendly atmosphere. On your way out, inquire about shirts, caps and other paraphernalia to remind you of your outing. If you want your meals fresh, you might just have to wait for their next cooking time, so be prepared for a walk around the park.

What it's it all about? HYPE This burger chain does one thing better than anyone else: convince people there is something special about this basic bar burger shack. These guys are every where... foodie cooking show and morning tv. Let's compare burgers to burgers, is any other chain out there doing something similar? Yup, Culvars based in Wisconsin not only makes a flat top buger, they do it better. Just don't wait in line!

Quite simply the very best hamburger I've ever had. I definitely plan on making this stop every time i'm in NYC. But i just can't figure out what make it sooooo good?!?!?

Perfect ball game food. The burger was perfectly cooked and the cheese fries were yummy! Loved the custard shake! Will definitely go again, but I dread the long line!

Visited Times Square location (not impressed with Madison Square Park visit many years ago). Waited in line about 10 mins on a Tuesday (~6 pm). On first bite, thought it tasted just like In-N-Out burger. On second bite, yep, just like In-N-Out burger but better. Prefer shoestring over crinkle cut fries but they were decent - crispy outside, tender inside, not greasy. Not best burger but very good fast food alternative.

Best Burger? You have got to be kidding me! I have heard so much about the great shake shack burgers, but boy, what a disappointment. Do you know that special sauce in a Big Mac? Well shake shack has it on their "Shackburger" which is only a little better than a Big Mac. I've had diner burgers that out rated these. And the fries are ordinary at best. In case you haven't guessed, I won't be back.

rode bicycles through Central Park and used the gps to find the place. Good dogs, good variety, good fries and shakes. Servings small for the price, and the wait is long. Not really clean in the dining room, and not at all clean in the men's room. Skip it if there's a line.

i'm afraid i'm not impressed....love Danny M. and his usual efforts. burger was ok #6 and fries, 1 to 10 get a #3 ok, but! waiting 30 - 40 minutes adds to the NEVER AGAIN! going down the block to Good Burger on 18th st is No wait, just order sit and enjoy and fries are "in my opinion" better. #5. i love fries, they are worth the calories if their GREAT! and there are definitely great fries out there.

As far as burgers go, this is the spot to go. Taste is fresh and good. Fries are ok, the cheese sauce is good though. Make sure you ask for shack sauce.

Great burgers and shakes. Fries are OK. Go early or late to avoid the lines. Since there is no waitperson service, having a partner to snag a table whilst you order is a must. Hence a frantic, NYC, free-for-all atmosphere. Nevertheless, will definitely return.

The burgers here are reallly tasty. Fries are also really good though I would skip the custard and hotdogs as they are nothing special. A little bit long wait from the time you order.
