Yassou Greek Grill Cafe, Las Vegas

In a town where entrees range from truffles to teppan-yaki, Greek food has finally arrived on the Las Vegas strip. The Yassou Greek Grill has certainly raised the bar for reasonably priced, tasty Mediterranean food. The bright and airy cafe is not far from the upscale strip resorts. In Summerlin, the residents have long made this cafe a favorite. The menu features quick bites like Spanakopia (baked dish of spinach, feta cheese, eggs, and scallions enclosed in phyllo layers) and Tzatziki (dip made from yogurt, chopped cucumber, and mint). Their dinners include Steak Souvlaki and a wonderful gyro and souvlaki (lamb kebab). Dinner plates come complete with Greek salad, rice pilaf, pita bread & Tzaziki sauce. -Lottie Tagupa
