The best seafood on the docks (only place to eat)... Go there just for the food, the atmosphere could use updating (Tacky old waterfront theme and the place has hard surfaces, cement floors, so it's very loud)... but they have the freshest and best prepared seafood...

We live down the street from Rusty Bellies and must say each time we go we pay more and get less. The food is good but the portions are getting smaller. Good news 3 more places with in a mile have opened up so either it will get better or ?

Had lunch 2nd week in February 2011, visiting from out of state. Crab soup outstanding!! Choice of meals from low to high in cost. Atmosphere, and decor appropriate to the surrounding area. Staff very polite and helpfull. Very well advertised in the local area media. No question, my wife and I will be back to enjoy the food on our next visit to Tarpon Springs, FL.

Freshest peel and eat shrimp on the west coast of FL!!! Great location on the water to view the sunset. Not fancy, but great food!

We wanted to get out & do something different. I live in Citrus Springs, so I got online to check out restaurants in Tarpon Springs & decided to try Rusty Bellies. I'm sure glad we did!! Hands-down the best, freshest seafood I've ever had & sooo delicious...my mouth is watering now thinking of the great shrimp feast we had! Cool views too, I recommend this great eatery to anyone who wants a good, fresh meal!!

Rusty Bellies Waterfront Grill

I went to Rusty Bellies the other day and ordered a hamburger and fries and a sweet tea. The hushpuppies were cold and hard. I couldn t get my waitresses attention to get some more.The tea was excellent. The hamburger was plain with nothing on it and also overcooked. I tried to get my waitress or anyone s attention to get some ketchup and mayannaise. That took a good ten minutes. Now I have a cold hamburger. The fries were few ... Well, as I was eating, the little latin boy and girl who clean the tables came and tried to take my plate twice while I was eating. Ridiculous! I was very quiet and didn t make a fuss. But, I promise I will never eat at Rusty bellies again. I left there wishing I had just driven through the McDonald s drive-thru. I would have been happier with the food and service and paid half the price. Btw ... the hamburger was 8.95 plus a dollar for the fries. Ridiculous for what I got.
