Mayuri Indian Restaurant, Beaverton

Make sure you go for the lunch buffet! We went for dinner once & it was very disappointing. The buffet is incredible! Delicious flavors, entrees that they change up from week to week while keeping the best... Great combo of stuff!

I went for lunch buffet for 8.95 today at 12:30 PM and food sucks. I could hardly see anybody around may be they re doing a gud job in keeping customers away. Lady who runs the place is busy over phone. Totally cold food , no variety , nobody bothered to refill anything. On asking the owner sent bread on table but still no refils on buffet table. Billing you need to check to even pay. Not going back n recommend avoid such places.

Very very ordinary food, below average service. Expensive too. I would suggest to go for an alternate if you have.

I have to agree with most of the recent reviews. We have given this restaurant 4 tries in the last 2 years and each time the service has been unbelievable bad. This last time we had to wait over 15 minutes to get water or any attention and we were the only person in the building. The lady waiting our table was to busy having a conversation on the phone and we were forgotten. Just as we were about to leave she finally came by. We ordered and the food came quickly, but we had yet to get silverware. I had to track down the waitress in the back and ask because I was unable to find any in the diner. The portions are small for the price you pay. The menu online is out of date the price is more expensive. The quality is ok. Some of the dishes on the Tali dinner seemed like lunch buffet leftovers from Friday There are many other Indian restaurants in the area that have far better quality for the price. We’re done… Never again. Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me.

Excellend food, great service. would recommend it to everyone looking for good authentic South Indian cuisine. Pros: Great food, good service Cons: Somewhat expensive (but worth it)

The food is below par. We ordered two entrees but didnt like either... There are many better Indian restaurants around portland...

I would give it 0 or half star if I could. The food is pathetic, portions extra small and service very slow. Need I say more?

2/15/08-Jesus Christ! Everything was so freaking delicious! I ordered spicy food yet it was kind to my tummy. I felt so good afterward. The restaurant is located in this cute remodeled diner-atmosphere and there is the subtle scent of lavender incense. So sensual! The only bad thing is it's pricey. $18 for a combo dinner? I can't go here very often but I would love to!!!!!!!!! EDIT: As of 10/11/09: I went here a second time hoping for it to be as good as the first and it wasn't. It was really depressing how we were pretty much the only people there and there wasn't any music playing to brighten up the atmosphere. Still $18 for a combo dinner. I ordered the chicken vindaloo. The chicken was sub-par in quality. Everything else was pretty tasty. The lady waiting us was chatting on her phone most of the time but I didn't really mind that too much because we were the only customers. Except would it have killed her to ask us our our meals were or just check up on us? And when I got home I had to go to the bathroom and do serious business which was odd because when I went to Mayuri a year ago I ordered the same thing and I felt great afterward. Meh. I would probably not come back after this. Abhiruchi, our other local Indian restaurant, is much, much better.
