Thi's Place on Main, Rock Hill

My husband and I went here on a Friday night and there were only 3 tables with people sitting there without any food....there was one server and must have been only one cook! It took a while for us to get our food considering they weren't busy. Our food was okay but I've had better, the worst part of all was that my husband and I were on the shitters all night after that!

Omg!!! Wel I love this place partly because it is owned by my bff Minh's aunt Tsi!!! He is a really sweet boy with a beautiful smile and he eats it everyday for lunch and when I taste it its always good!! Love you,minh!! Love, Nikki

PRO's The food tasted good. Cons We went in on a friday night and they were not serving Pho. The lone server who looked like she was about 15 "said not today". What kind of a business does this? The young girl was working alone, so the service was very slow. This really didn't bother me that much and was not the worst part. The menu's were bold pink lunch menu's with lunch specials with limited selection, not a regular menu. This is friday night for god sakes! When we got the bill we were charged more for the item that what the price was on the menu. We were given a lunch selection but were being charged full dinner prices. We quietly paid the bill and left. But we will be quitely not going back there.

The food here is fresh, unusual and very good. The service is super friendly and mostly family. The owner is a great member of the community, and the restaurant is an asset to downtown. I've not eaten much other Vietnamese, but the menu here is varied and delicious. A nice change from boring Chinese when you want some spice.

I love to eat at Thi's. The food is good, the service friendly and accomodating both for lunch and dinner. Try it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I'm sorry for this review, but I feel so bad for the people that eat at this place. This is NO where near authentic Vietnamese foods. I grew up in a Vietnamese community and I was sooooo disappointed when I visited this restaurant. Please please don't think Vietnamese foods taste or even look like this, it is much much better...I rarely give negative comments...but I just feels like this place is giving people the wrong impression of true Vietnamese culture....I lived in Vietnam for 20+years and I can't describe how DISAPPOINTED I was when I visited this place. Maybe I have different taste, but I know this is NOT REAL Vietnamese foods. From my experience, I know California, Virginia, and Philadelphia have good authentic Vietnamese foods. So please, "Thi," I know the foods(&portions) could be muuuuuuch better,and help people understand and enjoy real Vietnamese culture....Please. I really hope there will be some improvement the next time I happen to be visiting Rock Hill....again..I am sorry for this review..

The best food!!! Always grest service! I have 4 kids and don't always go sit down, but always get the same quality with take out. Even great service when my 2 year old was cranky and tired.
