I LOVE this place! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, great coffee gorgeous art on the walls...who could ask for anything more? There s also a comfortable outdoor patio in the front - nice! I especially love their creative omelettes, burgers, wraps and salads...YUMMY!
Great local place for a cozy and delicious breakfast. Believe it or not the panini makes for a great breakfast, especially with their gigantic cup of coffee. Owner is very sweet and attentive, and although the service can be a little slow the place is like a home away from home. You know your food is cooked to order and the folks that work there care about the diners and never try to rush you out to turn tables.
I want to like this place...But the service is always sooooo bad - I mean really really bad. I really want to go back - the food is good, but I can't, out of principle, the money spent is not worth the wait for drink refills, requests for simple things like syrup or ketchup, or the check for that matter! However, the coffee is Awesome and the outdoor patio is great - especially on a rainy weekend morning.
The Peach is one of those hole-in-the-wall favorites that locals are tempted to keep to themselves. A pleasant brunch-type cafe that serves only breakfast and lunch, The Peach is best enjoyed on a weekday...avoid the weekends if you can as it gets very, very crowded. Owner Nita and in-house baker Kate are sticklers for fresh ingredients, so the food is always wonderful. The attention to quality does hike the price up a little, but it's well worth the investment. My only caveat: the service. It's an everyone-helps-everyone system that makes it hard to flag down the right person for the quickest service during busy times. Insider secret: Friday nights The Peach is open for dinner! Fridays are also when the desserts are refreshed. Enjoy one of the gourmet dinner specials and a slice of Kate's made-from-scratch pie or cake and you can't go wrong. (Just remember that Myrtle is closed Friday nights: approach from Ivy to the east.)
My housemates and I go to the Peach Cafe regularly. I really like it because they're very baby and dog friendly. They offer dogs a bowl of water if they sit on the porch, and they have quick table turnaround, so the wait is almost non-existent. Their coffee is wonderful, and their menu is extensive. Plus, they'll let you customize every order just to your liking.
The menu is excellent, with a lot of variety--new dishes added regularly. Everything is prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. The service can be slow if you are there during a busy time, ie. weekend brunch, but well worth the wait.
