Full Moon Mandarin Cuisine, Monterey

Food is always freshly-prepared. Love their mu shu chicken and wor wonton soup. The service is very friendly. A great place.

Long wait to order (and few people in the restaurant). Food was bland and not much of it. Long wait for bill.

The food is not the best I have ever had but it is good. They make it for the middle of the road people as far as using flavor but this is a tourist town. It is very consistant from day to day and week to week. The people who word there are always very friendly and want to make your dining experience good. I would take my mother and father there, if that means anything :-)

Fantastic. My husband & I had tried every Chinese food restaurant in our area (being blessed to live in the Monterey area) and had all but given up hope until we tried the Full Moon on Alvarado St. We go every other Friday and take our family members whenever they are in town visiting. The people that work there are very pleasant and the food ... WONDERFUL Sweet & Sour Shrimp is one of our favorites and the shrimp are huge not just a tiny piece with a bunch of batter ...... actual big shrimp .....MMMM mmmmm we're going tonight ... and the Sizzling Rice Soup ... oh man ... it's amazing .... please try it .... I promise you won't be disappointed.

Best chinese food in town. I live in Socal now, and every time I come home to monterey, full moon is the first place i go to eat. excellent service, clean establishment. flexible if you want to adjust your meal ( more spice, less this etc) EXCELLENT
