Great food. Had lunch on Saturday The new bartender mike was awesome but when we went back on Sunday the bartender had no idea what he was doing and overcharged without an explanation.

this place is excellent, nice people (LIZ) would love to come back again!!!!!!

The food is lackluster, the service poor, and the place is so dark you can't even read the menu. The food was so-so, but very expensive for what it is.

The atmosphere of an old inn is wonderful and the food was pretty good. However, the children's meals were way overpriced (over $10 for chicken fingers, fries and drink), service was a little slow and the tables are VERY close together.

I have been to this restaurant and bar a bunch of times, and it never dissapoints! In the summer their new outdoor patio eating area is excellent, and the food is scrumptous! The service was superior, and the prices are very reasonable comapared all the overpriced places that abound in Nantucket.

This place is fantastic all year long. I remember so many wonderful things about it and was there in September and things haven't changed much. Great place to enjoy some hot chowder on a cold day! Looking forward to our next visit over Thanksgiving weekend!

We tried this place because we'd heard the food was good, AND you could go to dinner there in your shorts!!!!!!!! The food was wonderful ... best fried oysters EVER, great Chicken Panini sandwich, wonderful chocolate cake (warm) with ice cream ...... Clam chowder and lobster bisque were GREAT!!!! There were three of us, and all of us loved our entire dinners. And such a wonderful bonus that you can go VERY CASUAL on Nantucket at night, still have nice atmosphere and a few pennies left in your pocket! GO!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, drinking is a kick here and the atmosphere is almost pirate-like. The hamburgers and fish and chips are good but you don't really go for the food, you go for the ambiance.

What a joke that this place is rated number one on the island. The food is mediocre at best. Service is not much better.
