This upscale, little restaurant in the railyard district is a real treat. It has a small menu of simple, yet inventive, food. My party of three shared two apps (an organic beef carpacio with goat cheese and orange peel that was superb and a pear and watercress salad that was delicious) and two mains (the best duck confit around and an interesting and tasty napoleon made of shrimp, polenta cakes, and corn), a dessert (yummy bread pudding made with peaches and glazed with caramel that was served a bit cold in the middle), a half-price (Mon-Wed special) bottle of wine from a small but nice wine list, and a glass of muscato. We were pleased with the meal, the service, and the price (the whole meal including tax and 20%+ tip was under $140), and we will definitely come back, although Santa Fe has an incredible wealth of fine restaurants.
