This is the best Chinese Buffet in Evansville. Ive always been satisfied with the service and most definitely the food was excellent! The buffet was kept full and a sushi baris included. Im not even abig fan of sushi but i eat some anyways cause its included! i would suggest this restaraunt to travelers and the locals!
I love this place. While sometimes the servers are slow, the service is pretty good. As for the price, it's not great, but doable at about $10 per person without drinks. But it's for an all you can eat, so if you feel you must, go and spend that much on one plate most other places. I love their chicken on a stick and the little pink cakes (but I think the little pink cakes are only there for lunch). On Sundays, I don't care to go because brunch lasts until 2, and while the breakfast-y foods are there, there aren't as many lunch foods. I still love it.
The food is okay. Their prices are okay. The only thing I find fault with is if you order a take out, it's by the pound. Okay no problem, BUT you cannot just put ONE item in that take out container!! NO 'ALL COCONUT SHRIMP' is what we were told. If so, the price would be $11.95!!!! And it makes me wonder - is that a really FULL container or is it just a plain order of coconut shrimp!?? AND this is told 'verbally' over the phone. You will not find this option anywhere on their menu. So they make up their rules as they go along. Not right.
Not the best Chinese, but if you're a big eater- you get a good deal. Clean environment. Second best soup behind Grand Traverse Pie Company. I'm sure by Evansville standards people love this place. Those who are more traveled and have been outside of the tri-state area know its simply edible- especially the sushi. Unless you've been to the east or west coasts of the US, you have no idea what good sushi is. Then again people in Evansville also vote Olive Garden as best Italian food- not too cultured are you?
The best buffet in town! For an extra $2 on weekends you can get all you can eat crab legs! Not to mention mongolian BBq is included in the buffet price. HUGE selections!!! The hot beef and spicy chicken there is the best!!!!!!!!!
I travel a lot and eat in a LOT of restaurants. This place was wonderful. We went last October as a group (see www.wlghostchatters.com for more) for lunch on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. The food was wonderful. The price is 10.00 or less per person (with or without drinks - I tend to have water) and the food is all you can eat. Considering they have seafood this is an astounding deal. Our group will be having at least one meal there this year - the big one this year, so if you visit on October 20th, we're the loud people in the back room at around 8:30. I have been to better Asian Buffets, but only 3. Not bad - I'll say 4/5.
The Best Restaurant in Evansville: They have one of the Biggest buffet in town. I eat there almost every week. They always seem to have good service. I would recommend it hands down to anyone coming to Evansville.
