The food is typically fresh and quite yummy. Unfortunately, today, I visited Cedarland with a group of friends for lunch. Big mistake! There was another small group ahead of us at the counter. After we ordered from the daily specials menu (8.99 each but thought this was the safest selection for time contstraints at lunch) we found a table and waited... and waited. 40 minutes later I went back to the counter to learn that our meals had yet to be prepared. I asked that my lunch be boxed to go since I had only a few minutes remaining. 10 minutes later I was back at the counter explaining that I was out of time. The clerk bagged up my lunch and sent me on my way. Back at my desk, my lunch was cold and disappointing. Have learned my lesson, Cedarland isn't an option if there's more than one car in the parking lot.
This is a cute little place to eat or get real food from Lebanon! You can walk in and buy food off the shelf, or order a meal at the counter for take-out, or sit down in a diner atmosphere. Cedar Land is family owned and operated, so all the cooks, waitresses, and clerks are probably all related! Very nice!
