Houlihan's, Kansas City

Surprisingly I was not too pleased with the level of service for this location. I live in NKC but work in Mission, KS and normally go to the one off Fairway, which has much better service. My husband and I went to this location last sunday, for the first time. First, I was shocked at how slow it was in the restuarant for a Sunday around 1pm. There was seriously about 8 ppl there. Our food came out in the wrong order- my waiter forgot my salad and I had to ask for it after my entree came out and our entree immediately followed the appetizer. And when my side salad came out it was wrong and had to be made again. My husband's burger didn't have it's toppings as well- the bacon and cheese were missing and they came standard in his burger. After we were done eating ( meaning the waiter had taken our dishes) we literally sat there for another 20 mins waiting for our waiter to come back and give us our bill. He, by the way, was chatting up a waitress around the corner. The food is always great but the service at this location left something to be desired. There should not have been so much wrong with our meal considering it was almost a ghost town in there.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. One of the very few times I've gotten a medium rare steak cooked perfectly. Wait staff very friendly and management too. Great experience.

Houlihan's has been my favorite restaurant since I was little. I love the change, it's real modern. The spinach dip is the best... However, the Broadwalk location was horrible, it was my birthday and I was so displeased. We had a group of twelve, the food took forever and when it arrived it was either under or over cooked!!! I will never go back to that location!!!
