CENTAUR Martini Lounge, Detroit

I went to Centaur last night 4/29 after the Tyler Perry play. OMG Jason the bartender was rude, disrespectful and almost caused 2 altercations with a patron and my brother and nephew. I will never go to Centaur again. Jason the bartender was talking to people so nasty and rude that my nephew walked up and told him he better stop talking to his dad that way. Knowone had done anything to him. He was threating to throw people out of the bar and not wait on them because he said he was working on a broken foot or something like that and was in pain and did not want to be running around for people that did not know what they wanted to order. Why??? knowone had done or said anything wrong to him. We were having a nice time until then. Jason clearly needs to be fired and management should know what he is doing as saying to people. Jason service and attitude is the worst. If this is the type of service and atmosphere Centaur is offering, I will gladly let people know TO NOT USE CENTAUR FACILITY FOR ANY MORE EVENTS!!!

A great place to be. The space is extensive, covering 2 floors and the bartenders are top notch. My girl loves this place and its starting to love me as well.

their chocolate martini is the best,i hate being around all black people,p.s im black.I wanted to step out of the hood scene and do something more on my level.Anywho if you love mixed music,mixed crouds and mixed drinks.This is The Place To Be.

Centaur is one of Detroit's most stylish watering holes. But my list of good things to say ends there. It's a great place to go if you want overpriced and watered down Martinis. Or if you want to get hounded by bum-hustlers who expect you to pay them for helping you to park your car. They point, yell out a few things, and you do the rest. Centaur is a place for tourists.

Very Sexy Bar. Supper cool looking spot. Great martinis. They have great hors d'oevres till late.

This is one of the coolest bars in Michigan (looks like ArtDeco New York bar). We arrived one thursday night, got a drink at the 1st floor bar (a perfect manhattan) looking up at the chandelier we decided to go up to the 2nd floor bar. Had a great night playing pool, eating and drinking till late in the night. Good cool lounge music -Not Club Mix ( Thank god for this! ) The staff was a lot of fun. I will be back.
