I recently visited Rafain for dinner and had a great experience with the food. Everything was delicious and my night was going well until one of the managers (tall puertorican) made a rude comment to us. He was joking around with us as well as all the other tables. It was just one sarcastic comment he made that totally ruined our night. It was so upsetting that I refuse to go back. I wrote a complaint email to them which was never replied to. This made me think that they don t care about their customers or customers concerns. Because of this bad experience, I will never eat there or recommend to anyone.
I had the pleasure of dining in this fine Brazilian steakhouse a couple days ago and, oh boy, what a treat!!!! Great atmosphere, amazing food and wine. Service was impeccable and I notice the managers were visiting all tables. This guys really care! Can t wait to go back.
I know this is only one review but I hope others will read this... The manager Karlo is a dismissive jerk. We were having a wonderful time the food was great! Until half way through the meal a waiter spilled red wine all over me. Mistakes happen, I know but how the manager handled it was completely unacceptable. He came over and just kept telling me that it was just a material thing and that I should not be so upset about a dress that was completely ruined, not to mention the wine in my hair. Needless to say we were a little upset and asked for the bill just so we could leave and clean up. But once the bill came that was the final straw. He not only charged us for one extra person but he also left an 18% gratuity on the bill. When I confronted him about it he laughed at me and dismissed me like a child. I did not back down and demanded a refund. Needless to say we will not be back.
Well, I dont' know about this other reviews before me. I sounds like cherry pickers to me - People that are just after deals and find any possible way to complain. When I go to a full service restaurant I DO understand that I have to PAY for service (15 to 20 % is a given). Service is what I receive at Rafain. Food is delicious, service is impecable, atmosphere is elegant, and the price is just right. They invite us to check their website for ongoing specials, but there is really no need for it. Comparing FDC or TDB to RAFAIN, I beliece I receive everything that I'm looking for a much better price. That alone makes Rafain The Best Brazilian Restaurant In Town. Peace out.
Have been previously to Rafain and enjoyed it. Today was a different story: Insect in salad and DFW Restaurant Gift Card was not accepted. Were told that they discontinued it 4 months ago. Card was purchased only 2 months ago. Although we received an apology and were offered a free dessert, I didn't enjoy the evening too much. Not sure if I would go again.
I went a month ago and it was overall quite good.: Very good food- the flank steak fairly melted in my mouth. The spinach is also good, though it isn't available every night. And I went with my then- girlfriend, and so I appreciated the dim lighting for obvious reasons. Our server (I think he was named Ivan) was very attentive. One problem: when I tried to buy a giftcard for friends, I discovered that we were not allowed to add gratuity to the card itself, which poses an inconvenience for our friends should they decide to eat there.
You can’t get a better lunch deal anywhere in Dallas! All the delicious cuts of really well seasoned meat cooked to your liking accompanied by a well stocked very clean salad buffet and desert! You have to try the guava flavored chocolate pudding (not really sure about the name). For under $20 a person there is no other place like it, excellent service staff is very friendly and attentive and the meat well you just cant beat the quality for the price. I have been there for dinner but dinner is a little expensive for me and I rather eat a big lunch and not a big dinner. Bummer! not open for lunch on Saturday but they during the week. They have so many different dessert items its worth even getting their salad and dessert option for quick weekday lunch if you work near Allen. I obviously recommend it if you love meat like me!
We went Yesterday for the for the first time to Rafain , it was wroth it , we have been the other three Brazilian Restaurants in the area , this ranks on top for overall , I do recomend it there where 6 in our party and every one left with a smile, by they way you must try the Grilled pineapple it was excellent , the desert bar is a plus , give it a try.
