This place came as a surprise. Granted I came as a friend of a friend of the establishment, I have to say it was obvious the special treatment extended to all. There's just no way you can cook up individual dishes to such fall-of-the-bone goodness. (PS - unlike the vegetarian reviewer below, i like my meat with my potatoes served with a glass of a perfect red Chilean accompaniment.) Everyone at Red Tango is hospitable, sweet and down-to-earth. You feel like you came to your uncle's house who simply knows how to cook. Really well. Jose walks around with his kitchen on his sleeve. Trust him (and Clint) to recommend dishes for you. Plus, Jose knows his wine. Seriously - Red Tango is a find. Best of Denver in my book.
The food there was amazing! Huge portions. It looks like a little dirty diner on the outside, but once inside, the service was just as good as the food. Our waiter was pretty great too. We had a table of 12 and he didn't miss a beat. The Seviche is unbeatable!! The prices seem a little high, but, the portions are SOO big. You wont regret eating there. I know that we will be back for sure.
