Nicest little place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/10/07
I loved the character of the shop. It has beautiful pottery, wonderful samples of food that was available to purchase, and many other interesting items. I spent more time looking in this shop than in all the shops in New Glarus. I can't wait to return. Most friendly and helpful staff with knowledge of all things in the store. Willing to help with a smile.

Do Not Miss This!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/04
First off, they've moved around the corner to their own building (526 First Street) and OH MY GOODNESS! This has to be the most unique shop I've seen in years!

The nicest soaps, soy candles & bath products on one side of their classy shop, gourmet foods on the other, and one-of-a-kind shirts in the back.

Their gourmet food selection may not be as thorough as you're used to, BUT their selections are based on TASTE, LOW SALT & LOW PRICES! You can walk out of there with a fabulous, upscale dip mix for under $2!! They even visit/inspect the facilities that produce their products to ensure we receive quality products!

For my $20 I walked away with two dip mixes, homemade Amish jams, two soy candles, creamed honey, & maple syrup. Then I couldn't resist plopping down another $3.80 for what turned out to be the world's best pumpkin pancake mix (makes more pancakes than you can eat for two breakfasts for a family of four)

Top it all off with the nicest people working there, and you walk away with the feeling that you truly were welcome and now have new friends!
