place was appealing, but the hen that was seating us at the time was the problem.
told to wait outside, which was cold for a half and hour then when it came time to sit they wanted us to enter immediately giving no time to get our wives that were sitting in the car away from the cold.
told them to allow the people next in line to take our place but that wasnt good enough for the hen, she kept insisting that 12 noon they would stop serving.
meanwhile they were taking reservations at 11:45am.
we come to Manchester every other year and always thought the people here very Courteous and polite.
but lets not let some people ruin the warm and good nature of Manchester centers' other residents.

I've been there on numerous occasions while traveling in Vermont. People stand in line for an hour without hesitations to enjoy the wonderful omelets, waffles and pancakes. I promise, this is not your ordinary little country restaurant. Try it. You might also enjoy the hand carved roosters from local artisans.
My husband and I ate there a few years ago for breakfast and lunch while on vacation. The food was awesome and so tasty. I would reccommend this place to eat and will definitely go back should I visit Vt. again.
My husband and I just came back from Vermont.
While in Manchester, we went to the Little Rooster Cafe for Breakfast. We had the Corn Beef Hash. It was, beyond a doubt, the best breakfast I have ever had.I am not a big fan of corn beef, but it was just delicious.
It is made with fresh rosemary and potatoes. It is topped with eggs and bechamel sauce.
The Little Rooster Cafe in Manchester had been a favorite breakfast place for my husband and me. We returned from Vermont yesterday. We found out that the restaurant is under new ownership. The food was not as good as it had been and we've decided not to go back to that restaurant.
