The oldest pub in the Berks County, this Irish pub was originally built in Yorkshire, England, by traditional English craftsmen, then disassembled, transported, and reconstructed by those same craftsmen at its current location. Dishes such as USDA prime steak, catch-of-the-day, homemade soups, and succulent seafood dishes are served daily for lunch and dinner in an authentic Celtic atmosphere. The on site bar is stocked with over 80 beers from all around the world and the Guinness is always tapped to the strict specifications of Arthur Guinness himself.

Great Place
By Steve O, 04/04/08
the atmosphere is warm and cozy definitely better than chain places. Food prices are great w/ good portions for the buck. Excellent crab sandwiches and Mussels minimum 6 doz. for $9.75 enough said.

Went there once and I live near it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/07
There is a very wide variety of drinks especially if you like beer. Prices are ok and its in the middle of the city. The atmosphere is bland, its very small on the inside and seating is very limited. I would drive a few more minutes to another bar before I would go here again.

Great Experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/06
Great atmosphere! Warm and cozy, just like the pubs in small Irish towns. Service can be "off" on occasion but overall the food is reasonably priced and Guiness is as good as you can find anywhere in the Philadelphia Area!
