Chapala Mexican Restaurant, Brentwood

I have to disagree with you. After i ate here i was very unhappy, I will not be returning to this resturant. I had a very bad experience.

We rarely spend the money to eat dinner out, but I am so glad we did and went to the Chapala Restaurant. It was peaceful and clean, the service was prompt and the food was GREAT. My husband's spicy fish was fresh and done expertly. My garlic shrimp tortilla dish was delicious and the beans exceptional. I wish I could make them that tasty at home. Our teenage daughter also enjoyed her meal very much. It was a really good, satisfying meal that truly made a nice evening for our family.

I knew someone who worked there and they told me that most of the food is frozen. they had food that was old, they had canned beans and she even said that the cheese had green spots. they would just cut out that part of the cheese and put the rest in the food. I have been there twice and there food is ok. This review I just wrote for the person who worked there. From my friend's opinion just say that go to other places where they serve fresh food. from my opinion, try it out once and if you don't like it don't come back.

Lots of great food, always love Mexican food this was my favorite! Took some friends they enjoyed the appetizer chip and salsa..Super delicious Menu a lot to choice always have there dinner plate Garlic Shrimp

I HAVE TO DISAGREE THE FOOD IS GREAT THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY THE PLACE IS CLEAN (THE CLEANEST IN THE AREA) AND NOW THAT THEY MOVED LOCATIONS ITS EVEN BETTER!!!!! HOMEMADE TORTIILAS MMMMMM!THERE JAMAICA AND HORCHATA ARE GREAT.. BUT I GOT TO SAY THERE CHIPS AND SALSA ARE THE BEST YOU CAN TELL THERE NOT FROM THE STORE (LIKE OTHER RESTAURANTS)CHAPALA I GIVE YOU GUYS A 10....GOOD JOB AND THE PLACE LOOKS GREAT... YES I WILL GO BACK!!!

Enjoyed the scenery, felt like a traditional Mexican food...chips & salsa! in addition, the Menu has many choice my favorite the Fajitas classic...really worth it nice and Local location, family and kids say its delicious!
