Pub 500, Mankato

Pub 500 is one of my very favorite restaurants/bars in the Mankato area. My husband and I usually find ourselves at the Pub at least once a week. Sometimes for cocktails, but most often for dinner or lunch. Every now and then we're around at closing time or in early for a nice Sunday brunch with the in-laws and the kids. This is a great "neighborhood" establishment right in the heart of Mankato's City Center. Management and staff are very nice, the menu is great and has some vegetarian items, and the beer selection is outstanding. Check out their World Beer Cruise - it features beers from all around the world. Likes: Huge Beer Selection(!!), Great Atmosphere, Diverse Menu, Live Entertainment, Weekend Breakfast Menu, Patio.

Great food and lots of fun. The crew was nice and the band was good. Very cold beer! Loved all the woodwork. We moved to the outdoor patio fire pit. Great people watching.

Lots of cherry stained wood. Two fireplaces one in a lounge area inside and the other on the patio outside. The service was friendly and the food was great (fish and chips and the pulled turkey sandwich)! Pretty reasonable on the pricing as well. A very large selection of beers doesn't hurt either. A gem for the city of Mankato.
