O'Neill's Pub, Salem

This place is great with one exception....three Saturdays ago we went to ONeills to grab a bite and partake in a few beverages (of the alchohol persuasion) the place was real quiet so we decided to eat at the bar, the bartender was kinda cute, but MAN!! a little short on the brain matter, she took 10 minutes on our drinks even though we were the only people in bar with the exception of two local (apparently) guys, there were five of us and we were having beer!!! she then forgot to send our food order to the kitchen!!! so just when we thought the food was taking a long time, we asked and then she realised her mistake???? I shudder to think what would happen if the place was busy, the food was great WHEN it arrived and we think that the place is really cool, and continue to frequent the place for alchohol and the music, but PLEEASE put a more capable person on the bar.

This is a great spot - especially on Thur-Fri-Sat nights. It is loaded with the younger crowd (College) in their 20's and early 30's max. Guys wearing baseball hats with curved visors and groups of girls in circle formation ordering martini and cosmos (monoploizing the bartenders' time). If you are older - it is not for you. Crowded, loud and dancing to DJ music - great for younger crowd.
