Best course in New England
By Fred, 6/25/11
The 18 holes we played was extremely challenging from the tips. One of the best maintained courses in New England and at $48 with cart on weekdays....UNBELIEVABLE! My new favorite course! It does need a clubhouse, but that is under construction!

Fantastic golf course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/10/11
27 holes of breathtaking views - course was in unbelieveable condition for so early in the golf season- this course is not for the beginner - you could play a Nationwide golf event here - course is in much better shape that the more expensive course right next door - this will be a fantasic golf experience when the club house is completed

Let's keep CW to ourselves..Amazing!
By Snowbird, 6/13/10
This track is amazing. 27 holes of great golf for half the price...Don't tell anyone, but the design, layout, conditions, and staff are top notch. Total surprise. Beats out its neighbors Waverly Oaks and Pine Hills 10 to 1... Played 18 on Zacharis and Jones. Another 9 after on Ouimet for fun. All are amazing. Favorites are Zacharis and Ouimet. While it doesn't have a club house (trailer) and the grounds leading to the courses are a bit rough, you can see where they invest their money. Practice areas (two putting greens, pitch area, 3 tier range) and the courses are in amazing shape. Totally unexpected when I arrived in the parking lot. Staff is definitely South Shore, but nice and quick to help out and make the experience sharp for its golfers. Definitely a top 5 of publics in Massachusetts. Just don't tell anyone.

Great Course. Great Employees.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/09
I just read the comment posted on 6.9.09 below. I've played Crosswinds for years and I have never had an employee of Crosswinds treat myself or any of my guests with anything but the utmost respect. 3.5 to 4 hours has always been fine with the management at Crosswinds. And by the way, I shoot in the high 80's to mid-90's at Crosswinds. I love the course and the employees; you will too. "Wise Comment EmployeesBy A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/09Unless your score is 80s or under then forget about this course. We finished our 18 holes a little over 4 hours and the employees there were giving us crap for playing so long. They asked us not to come back in the morning because its too busy. I never knew that golf was considered a race to see who finishes the course with the fastest time."

Great 27 holes
By John, 9/12/09
All 3 nine holes were fantastic - great views - course was in great shape. Certainly not a course for a beginner or anyone who can't break 100. It was just as good as two priced high public courses courses in the area. A-

FANTASTIC
By Jack, 9/3/09
just got back to tampa, florida from a trip to plymouth and cape cod...what a gem we found in crosswinds!! Played several courses in the area and loved crosswinds...cant beleive its not rated as one of the top 20 in the state...best conditions i have seen in years anywhere! Hilly layout was awsome from a floridian standpoint...scrub oaks and pines are great...could not see any holes next to each other! Play all 27 if you can ...no two alike with great elevation changes...cant wait to get back next year...congrats crosswinds!!!!

This is a good golf course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/15/07
Played "off season." Cheap green fee. Carts not available on this day but it's a very difficult walk. Very hilly and long distances between some greens and tees. It's a well designed course.Greens rolled at a nice speed. Some good sized greens.Fairways are wide enough that you can use your driver on most holes. I'm pleased that we "discovered" this place. We had an enjoyable day.
