Butler Greenwood is situated among extensive landscaped grounds with formal 19th century gardens and hundreds of ancient moss-draped live oak trees. Having never been sold outside of the original family, this typical early raised, rambling English cottage-style home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and still retains plenty of original furnishings, silver, portraits, and clothing.

Just okay

I thought the grounds were beautiful but that was about it. The cottages are nice but not spectacular. The best part was the jacuzzi tub. The breakfast consisted of cold croissants in the fridge, with milk, orange juice, and coffee. Also, you have to pay for a guided tour of the main house, even if you are a guest in one of the cottages. When, I asked to look around, I was told that they offer guided tours. It was polite but still, I think it should be included in the price of the room. But, the WORST absolutely WORST part was the 10:30 am checkout. For a place that is supposed to be romantic, nothing is less romantic than having to wake up at the same time as you would any other day. I think that next time, I will unplug the tv and phone at my house and I can have almost as nice of an experience.

This is a WONDERFUL place! Great B&B! The BEST! I don't know how anyone could ask for more. The staff are friendly, extremely nice and gracious. It truly is like a little piece of heaven on earth. The cottages are well designed and decorated very sweetly and warmly. So cozy; so romantic. The animals and the setting are absolutely, positively the BEST! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a little relaxation, peace, enjoyment, and a little quality in life.
