Love this park!!!!
By William, 10/22/09
I have been going to this park since I was a little girl and I know take my two kids. It is very family friendly!! Very clean and full of nature from the trails, park, beach to the campsites and The old Fort which is my favorite. Great for picniks. We love to take the kids and our Dog to walk the trails!!! If you are in Winder or near us you should stop and see this park!!!!!

So So
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/09
Visited Ft. Yargo State Park today. Some areas seemed to be better kept than others. All around the nature center at the lake smelled like sewer depending on which way the wind was blowing. Lots of trash along the banks in this area too. This park has the potential to be really nice but with state budget cuts, could go either way.

Bathrooms by the Lake beach area
By Victor, 04/25/09
Both the Male and Female bothrooms are very filthy, they need better maintenance and an attendant. The swimming area is good. The grilling Picnic area # 1 is very good. Still I will recommend to others Do not let the surronding area disappoint your stay.

Perfect areas for picnics and gatherings. All the accomidations of the larger parks, but with a small crowd. Love the beach area and the Putt Putt.
