Church At Liberty Square, the, Cartersville

Have not been to a service but have received from the food ministry, and thankful for that to all the members which is the church in case u didnt know. Now to respond about politics not belonging in the pulpit. I say you are completely wrong and in fact it should be emphasized more and frequently. I am not saying to pick out one person or party. I am saying dont forget the very words f the Lord in "i must go because the ruler of this world is coming" and the scripture "as i was in the days of Noah" What was the main problem with the earths inhabitants at that time? Well if you think it was eating and drinking and just getting married then you need to study a little harder. Satan truly has his spawn and they control most every nation. Well see for yourself.

I started attending The Church At Liberty Square (Cartersville Church of God) when I was in Middle School (1977ish) and it was located on Elizabeth street. I have had the pleasure of growing and moving to Old Mill Road (Now Excel Christina Academy & Day Care). I have been taught, loved, grown, Married (1985), raised two children, sang in the choir,helped to feed and so much more. I have tried other churches along the way. But I always have come home. I may not agree with everything, but who agrees with everything that happens in a family? Our Pastor does a wonderful job. He has employed an incredible staff that makes our church function at its best. Does he have to ask for monies along the way? Sure! We have been blessed with the opportunity to bless others. There is such a demand for different ministries and the Church does all it can to reach a multitude of people. If everyone (including my family) did as the Bible teaches and paid our ten percent tithes, the demand for money that some have mentioned wouldn't be as strong at times. I'm thankful for a Pastor who preaches the Bible, and speaks about our country and it's leaders. It helps to have a Godly man show from the Bible how we need to strengthen as a community as well as a nation. This Church offers support from the time a child is brought into this world until our loved one growes older and goes on to be with the Lord. Thank You Pastor & My Church Family

I love Liberty square church. Many people want prosperioty preachers nowadays, instead of giving to Gods' church they want to know how they can get. Also comparing Joel Olsteen is ridiculous when he isn't a ordained or licensed preacher. He is a tickle your ears, feel good motivational speaker. He NEVER gives an invitation to christ let alone preaches on anything that is relavent to your salvation. Everyday isn't your best day! God doesn't promise us it will be easy to take up your cross to follow him and if that isnt in your agenda for living the life the bible tells us, then you will never find christ. If you aren't understanding that giving to your church or a church, which is to help it continue in its growing, and reaching the world with missionaries and all the other things that aren't free in life then you should read your bible.

I love the friendliness and exhuberance of the people. I wish it was more integrated meaning different races and ethnic back grounds, like Joel Osteen's congregation in Texas, now that would be awesome. I love Pastor Edwards and his word is always powerful and enlighting. However, please leave the President and Politicians and name dropping out of the sermons. That is no place for his personal views on politics. When he starts on that stuff I tune out and dont listen. The pulpit is not the place to start discussing Politics and Politicians. Otherwise the church, its programs and its people are awesome!

I really wanted to send a personal email to the pastor of Liberty Square. I saw the review page while searching for his email address. I have been attending Liberty Square at least three Sundays out of a month. Everyone has been very friendly and the service has been great. I attended this past Sunday July 25th. The sermon started off great. Pastor Joe talked about the government being in a mess and I agree it has been that way for some time now. The pastor talked about President Obama. He said he's not qualified to be our President. Then he said "Im not saying hes the antichrist". I felt like thats what he was saying but not in so many words. This is the second time he's had something negative to say about the President since I have been attending Liberty Square. I understand the pastor has his own views, Im sure we all do. I support our President. I have been attending Liberty Square to hear a word from God, and not the pastors opinion of President Obama. I have been in search of a good church for some time now. I agree the government is in a mess, but it was in a mess long before President Obama moved in. Please understand that some of your congragation supports President Obama and it really hurts to know that you dont respect that. Thanks for listening.

We have visited Liberty Square Church, the last 3 Christmas Programs and have enjoyed it extremely. I say visited, because we belong to another Church. We have found it to be a friendly Church and we go to Uphold and Worship our Creator and Saviour, I do not expect to be Patronized or shown a false Front... Only the Word Of God and Assembleing with others in Worship is all that matters to us. If we look to Man we wil be dissappointed, but The House Of God, Shant.. Look for A Blessing At Liberty Square and I Belive; You'll receive It.

There is no better place to be than in God's House. And He is definitely alive and well at The Church at Liberty Square. If the smiles on the faces do not say it, then the voices of the children will, if not the children, the chior, if not the chior, the Pastors. This church is unbelievable in every way and I highly recommend that you attend each and every Sunday (and Wednesday).

This church is absolutly one of the most awesome experiences I have ever had at any church. The CHOIR is one of the best I have ever heard. Pastor Edwards, well let the 20+ years of being there speak for itself. I lost interest in going to church for many years until I let someone talk me into visiting here and I am so glad I did. I can not wait to get back every Sun. and Wed. now. If it can do that for me, it can do that for anyone. If your looking for the "perfect" church you will never find it. However I will say if there was the perfect church, this one would be at the top of the list. I would about guess that 8-9 of every 10 visiting will come back if not JOIN. You will too if your looking for a home church.

I have been having trouble finding a church that will not judge you and accept you, and then I visited your church Sunday, and loved what I saw and loved the people that spoke to me and my wife.. Thank you for letting us in and being a part of your worship.

This church is the BEST there is around! The people and leaders are so very kind, they take you as you are with no criticism. They are a great helping source for people who want to learn about our Lord and for people in need and of course people who just want to keep growing in the word. If you need a place to turn this is your Turning Point. God Bless all of you and we hope to see you visit.
