My favorite place to dine. Great food, great drink, great service. One thing that I have noticed is that all of the front line personnel (hostess) look like supermodels. This gives the atmosphere a very high end mood down to the sleek look of the servers and the smooth ambiance. Very elegant. Great food. (original review 01/15/2009, edit 06/16/2010)
I took my family out for dinner one night and were being very frugal of not spending more than what I had in my checking account. The next day when I checked my account I noticed I was charged twice. I waited one week to see if they were honest enough to correct the mistake. After checking again it was evident they were not going to refund the extra charge. I went in on a Friday evening and the manager took my information down and had me wait for a response for 20 minutes. When he came back he was upset and told me he couldn't refund me the money at that time because it was bad timing for him and I was just going to have to wait 4 more days. He didn't even offer an apology. The money was credited but not for the full amount. They stiffed me out of my hard earned money. Word of advice be careful not to use a credit card or debit card when paying. Corporate will be hearing from me.
I was looking forward to eating here after all the hype. I was dissapointed. This place is nothing to write home about. The food was average as was the service. I thought that it was overpriced for the quality of food. The one thing I enjoyed were the lettuce wraps, but that was about it. This place is over rated.
Best Restaurant in El Paso!! Great food and good variety. Don't leave without trying the chicken lettuce wraps, kung pao chicken or kung pao scallops. If you love spicy food then try the Dali Chicken. Yummy!! My husband and I are from San Antonio and this reminds us of home. The service here is equal to any we have had all over. You get what you pay for and believe me this is worth every cent.
If you like high quality bistro chinese food, then this is the place for you. Get there early on the weekends b/c the wait can be tedious. I highly recommend this place. I wish that I lived on the west side so that I could eat there more. :(
I highly recommend this place especially if you are not particularly fond of Chinesse food. I've only been eating Chinesse food myself for about 3 months. I went there only because I was with friends, but I was not disappointed. The service was excellent and ambiance was great.
I love chinese food. I have eaten it all over the world including 7 days I actually spent in China. If you want to go out for a wonderful Chinese dining experience I recommend P.F. Changs.
I know there are people that are a bit snobish about chains but there are reasons why some chains are so popular. Sometimes it's the price, or just the shear number of establishments and slick merchandising, sometimes it's because they have a good concept and execute it exceptionally well.
I blieve P. F. Changs fall in that catgorey. I've eaten at 12 different P.F. Changs and they have all been outstanding.
The food is delicious, fprepared fresh and served well with enough of a serving that I often have enough for another meal which I am not ashamed to take home with me. They keep their menu interesting by adding not only new dishes but different styles of Chinese food.
My personal favorite is the P. F. Chang's in the Houston Galleria area. It is one of the older restaurants but they really have it going on. The head chef at that store is outstanding and if you get a chance, try to talk to him. My second choice would be the one in El Paso. They do a great job there.
