Wonderful time, for young and old

Wow, Start your day by going Tuesday or Wednesday mornings to watch the Blue Angels perform first. They begin at 8:30. So go early as it takes about a half an hour just to drive into the gate, then you have to park and walk to the area. Free admission, free parking. During summer months, take sunscreen, water, hats and something to sit on. Limited seating available on bleachers. Then go into the museum, you'll be hot and ready to be inside. Spend the few $$ to watch the IMAX movie to see the Blue Angels and learn what it's like to be a Blue Angel. Then go thru the museum. Lots to see. Buy a minature Blue Angel plane in the gift shop or spend a little more and make some little boy happy with a model. Go into one of the two flight simulators. We did the Blue Angel one, a very short ride but fun for $ 5.00 ea. Our 3 1/2 & almost 7 year old girls loved this. Upstairs is the hands on area for the kids, they can climb into helicopters and planes and use their imaginations. We spent easily 5 hours here and didn't see it all. We all loved everything we did here at the Museum.
