Scuba Shack, Pensacola

We tried to dive the Oriskany. All we got we excuses and misleading statements. First it was all about the weather, but eventually the truth about engine problems surfaced. Then we were told that another boat would be taking us out. When we arrived to fill out paperwork we were told the trip was cancelled due to weather. Found out later today that the trip in fact went out short because Scuba Shack cancelled us on the boat. Why? Ask them. The captain held the boat an extra half hour because he thought we were coming. Go figure. We drove 9 hours to be there to make this dive. Only to be told something that wasn't correct. I have my idea why but rest assured I won't not dive with them again

Not what I expected. Seem to cater to a certin type of person who does'nt mind getting extra charges here and there as long as they are treated like they are rich. The dive charter was fun but I could have gotten the same thing for much much less. They did make homemade ice cream on the boat ride back. That was a found memory, but it wasn't worth the $200 EXTRA dollars I paid. You can find other places that will charge a lot less and won't be so misleading about prices within a reasonable drive. I would recomend looking into them.
