Thank you all for taking the time to voice your opinion. No one likes to be disappointed, and I'm sorry you had a less than epic experience. Regarding Night Lights: We are always experimenting on improving the customer experience, so your feedback is helpful. Just FYI-We offered a 2-for1 Groupon during that time frame. For the reviewers who arrived prior to Nov. 2010, I encourage you to give us another try. As a young garden, only 3 years old, we now are home to six lush botanical gardens, Caribbean, Asian, Water, Children's, Florida & Brazillian Gardens plus a Butterfly house that's just magic. We are also the offical home of over 400 plumerias at the request of the Plumeria Society of America. Many locations had been considered, including Hawaii, but, the PSA ultimately determined that the Garden’s climate, size, resources and location were ideal for the collection. So, enough about us. Went to their night lights solstice event. It was anticlimactic, disappointing, and a rip off. You pay 15 dollars to walk around in the dark, look at tiki torches, and drink crappy cocoa. I'm sure it's beautiful and interesting during the day, but this event is an epic fail.

The fee to enter was $9.95 per person, and in 45 minutes I saw all there was to see, even stopping to take a bird photo. It was boring, all the same vegetation, very little signage, and not worth the money.
