Maxine's Salon & Spa, Melbourne

I went there and the people there think they are better than everyone else. They think they know everything, do not listen to what you have to say and want, and they treat you like you are not worth their time. I went in to get a basic facial, i had paid before the service and had left a $20 tip before the service so this way i would get an excellent facial. but no, the girl walks in (susan was her name) takes the cream that opens and cleans your pores, leaves me their, comes back scrapes it off, and then she realized she had left it on to long. I was reader than a lobster for a week. there is much more to this but it is not worth the time to talk about them. Trust me, if you want the worst time of your life go to Maxines.

I went to a girls night out with my sister... She bought a package for massage.. Beverly was the massage therapist there that night.. She was great... Very attentive and helpful with questions...I called to make a appointment with Beverly on Monday, but was informed that she was let go..What a loss...the staff offered someone else, but I was used to Bev.. I will go somewhere else until I find her..Please let me know where Beverly is !!! What a lost.

Customer Service was outstanding. Facial by Joanne C. was the best I've ever experienced. Would definitely go back for the facial and also the Hairstyle by Haan. Credit card/Debit card can't be used for tips so take cash to reward this excellent team of professionals.

I went to Maxines for a facial and manicure and pedicure. I was extremely happy with the results. My facial by Andrea was very relaxing and felt wonderful. My manicure and pedicure by Chan was was also great! I will defintetly be returning! :)

Loved the decor! Very unique and detailed. Everthing was very clean and all of the staff members were very nice. My facial was outstanding, manicure average. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially when a package is purchased. I was a bit confused with the "wine store" in the reception area. I still don't know if wine is seved/sold/offered during the spa visit, or ust available for purchse of bottles. All the clients seemed to be having a good time, and were happy when they left. I certainly left feeling relaxed and will be returning soon!

Maxine's is a pleasure to experience. The staff is pleasant, attentive, and personable. I work at home and going for my personal care at Maxine's is a wonderful break in my work week. My waxing is always taken care of with such detail and care. She pays attention to every sprig and stray, and I leave proud to show my face in public. My sincere thanks to my stylist for the "rebirth" of my hair. The color, the cut, advice....priceless. She's splendid. Last, but definitely not least. The owner. He's so personable and has a wonderful manner. He has taken great care to touch on the little things, (and not so little), so that we can enjoy our time at Maxine's. Thank you all so much.

I like this salon because it's quiet, relaxing, and inviting. The salon is easy to locate and you don't have to deal with a lot of traffic. The prices are reasonable and they always have a special. I first visited the Salon during a Girls Night Out and I've been going back ever since.

Staff was rude. Facial was not very good. Didn't clean out pores, even after I asked them too. Didn't feel like it was worth the money. Better spas around this area
