Grimaldi Candies, Melbourne

The staff is friendly and helpful - they give generous samples of their unique products. The Chocolate covered Potato chips are amazing. I have had them in other locations and I say - you have got to be kidding. Grimaldi's is by far the best, the rest do not even compare.

I ordered three boxes of candies totalling 50 dollars and NEVER recieved them!! I checked with UPS and they said that the items NEVER shipped! and now their website is CLOSED for the holidays and I've spent 50 dollars on NOTHING!!!!!

It is a fairly small shop,but they have made great chocolate candies for years. It was many years ago that I first tried chocolate covered chips and from that day I was hooked. Also thier store is located in old Melbourne where there are many quaint shops. You could spend the day eating rich milk or dark chocolate chips or pretzels, or some of thier other specialties, while shoppinp for antiques or Persian carpets or even Russian nesting dolls. If you are near by it is worth the stop. If Grimaldis is also online. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you go into the store you could smell the chocoalte being prepared in the back and you know what you are buying is fresh. I love the chocolate covered pretzels, they are to die for. In christmas time I go back home to Puerto Rico and everyone can't wait for me to give out my Christmas Presents because I always give everyone a box of the chocolate covered pretzels and one of the chips. I recomend this chocolate to anyone that is a chocolate lover. Just a small warning... Once you try it you will never taste chocolate the same way.

We just got back from a trip to Florida and my son insisted we go to Grimaldi's. I was unprepared for all of the various wines, chocolates etc. I truly felt like a "kid in a candy shop". I brought back a couple of the boxes of chocolate potato chips for my co-workers. What a hit!
