Meg O'Malley's, Melbourne

Any place that offer's a very tasty $0.18 cup of is a winner. We had the Beef Stew which was very good with almost too much beef and the Onion Soup with was good also. Good ambiance but they were not playing Irish music. Cyndi Lauper seemed out of place.

loved how busy the place was when the street outside was so empty! Food was good. Atmosphere great, Entertainment good and staff lovely. We came from Scotland - and didn't expect this. Meant to go back before we left Indiatlantic but ran out of time. Want to go back!!!

This truly reminds me of a true Irish pub. Their food is wonderful, the drinks are wonderful, the entertainment is wonderful--there is little else to say. Do yourself a large favor and go there. You will not be disappointed!

Meg O' Malley's has a casual inviting environment that is relaxing and eye catching. Always something to look at and read and the food is amazing (and at a great and reasonable price too!). The staff was friendly polite and just the right level of attentive but not hovering. Always striving to make sure your experience at Meg's is everything you want it to be and more. I always take my visiting family or just for a night out with my friends, or by myself to relax. The block parties and holiday celebrations are a blast for anyone and everyone. Overall a fun family-friendly place I would recommend to all. I promise you I go about once every month or two.

Has a nice Irish feel and the food's pretty good. Lots of beer choices but you'll pay for it. Make sure you check out their street parties on St Pattys day and Halloween.

If you you are the type of person that loves the old Irish atmosphere, good people, great food and great prices this is your place!!! From thier HUGE overstuffed burgers, to their classic soups, this place has a taste for everyone!

Meg O'Malley's is one of the best Irish Pubs you can find anywhere. The atmosphere is very authentic, the food is always terrific, and the bar (to include daily pub fare) and staff are top notch. The menu offers an extensive choice of authentic Irish foods, as well as some of the best ribs and "two handed bar burgers" you can find. They even offer a cup of 18 cents (yes...cents!) Irish soup (served with a meal). And, if you are longing for a proper pint of Guinness stout, this is the place to have one. Add all that to the location in old downtown Melbourne, and it makes for an enjoyable outing for all ages.

I love to go to Meg's for a good time. There is always great entertainment and the wait staff is superb!
