Need Renovation, PLEASE....
By ,
This place really needs renovation. It's old, ceiling and walls are about to fall. Forget about leg room; seats are small and broken. This place is smelly and has no air circulation/venting system (or there may be one but not working).... It's late October.... but it's toasty inside, everyone was sweating in the concert ... ugh... I guess everyone can picture how gross the moment was!!!

if you like music
By ,
I think this place is a great place to hear music. It is intimate and every seat is good because it is so small. It is old and a little dirty but it lends to its character.... If you like music and like the small setting than go check it out....

Do not Go
By ,
The entire evening was a disaster. I took my husband for his 50th birthday. The theatre is filthy to say the least. We had balcony seats which were broken and torn apart. We could not hear a thing. Many people were complaining. This place should be shut down. Stairways smelled so bad that we could hardly breathe.

Amazing
By ,
This is by far the best place to see shows in the boston area. a quiet, classic atmosphere. tickets are a little pricey but almost all tickets are. Definitely worth it for any performance.

Close it down.

The first time I went to the Orpheum, I thought that it was just a dive. On my return, I realized that it was a poorly designed for anyone behind the 10th row or in the balcony. Now that we have the invention of staggered seating, it's time to retire the relics of yesteryear. Every 5 seconds I had to move my head to see around on head or another. Oh! I know that my ticket was enough to at least pay for a can of paint. The chairs and carpet looked like they must have been the originals from 1850. ...and did the entire city of Boston spit their gum out on the carpet? Who does that?
