I am SHOCKED at some of the reviews on this website. I work in a restaurant and every restaurant has its good and bad days. PF Changs is one of my favorite places to eat and I have NEVER had a problem with the service, the food, the drink, etc. I really would not classify it as chinese food but it is still great anyways. My only complaint is how long it takes to get a table but you can easily take care of that by calling a making a reservation ahead of time. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I do all the time.
The decor does a great job of convincing you this is a restaurant; however, the food is generic mall food that masquerades as Chinese cuisine. You can find better food at any Chinese restaurant elsewhere in the city without the hour wait for a table... but if you're in Town Center for the bland consumer mall experience with no flair for the authentic this fare will fit the bill.
I've been here on two ocasions ... because I always give a second chance. the service was slow, threr wasn't much food, but at leaast it didn't have much taste either. At least the drinks were pretty potent.
I'm a Chinese food lover and must say that I've never had Chinese this bad. The waiter was not very knowledgable about the menu. The service was very slow, and way over priced. Please save your money for a better place than this. There are so many to choose from.
This is what you get when you go to a chain restaurant. The cooks are underpaid workers instead of real chefs. If you want good Chinese go to one of the plethora of privately owned places all over the place.
P. F. Chang's in VA Beach offers an absolutely fantastic menu. Their orange peel beef is a standout and their vegetarian choices are superb. My friends and I always enjoy our visits. Downside: the waiting area is TINY! And, due to its popularity, it's impossible to have a quiet meal.
I wish to register a complaint regarding two visits to this establishment in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The first was a few months ago. I was with my wheelchair bound father. The servers could not refrain from making comments within ear shot of how inconvenient it was to work around a wheel chair. The next was about the service tonight. We ordered to go and the manager had us bussing tables to get our food, which never came. I know that sounds outrageous but when you have a screaming one year old, you'll do anything to just get the food and get out. I was waiting for just under an hour and although we bussed, there was not even an explanation as to why our food was taking so long. With so many decent restraunts in the area, go elsewhere. Atmosphere and true service is right across the street, literally.
