AWESOME BBQ pork. pulled chicken wasnt too great for me. SIDES WERE GREAT!!! best bbq in town and probably the best ive had. :) many choices of ribs as well

Not really sure what all the fuss is about, sauce I had was OK, ribs were overcooked and dry. Cornbread was tooo sweet for my taste, collards to much salt, other side a bean salad unforgetable. We were a party of six from GA, and none of us were very impressed with the food. After a long wait the best part were the people we met while waiting in line for 20 min. The bathrooms reminded me of thoes you find at a truck stop, and the resturaunt itself was not all that clean. If this is the best BBQ in Asheville I'd say skip BBQ there as so many great options in dining there. Staff was friendly.

What a great lunch experience! I arrived prior to the 11AM opening and found myself, and the other members of my party, standing in line. After opening, the lined move quickly as did the orders after they were taken. My smoked turkey was great and my friends certainly seemed to enjoy their ribs! It's a great place, kind of off the beating path, but great! Recommend it to your friends and they'll be your friends for a long time!

Great ribs and pulled pork! Price is right compared to other places. Be aware there will probably be a line; it is definitely worth the wait!

Ribs were wonderful. The sweet tomato sauce was so tasty. Would definitely return when back in Asheville.

Awful. Cornbread is as sweet as cake. Mac and cheese is actually boiled elbow pasta with an un-cheesy sauce poured over it; pecan pie was old and separating. Very little was eaten off our plates and when they were picked up as we were leaving the server didn't ask us if we enjoyed it or what was wrong. Completely dazed and confused why there is a line. Do not waste your money nor time. There are too many great restaurants in Asheville to 'dine' here.

i just found the website for this plac eand read the 1 review...........are you kidding,it must have been written by the compitition ,its the only thing i can think of !!!!!!! they have fall off the bone ribs, wonderfully smoked pulled pork and brisket and the sides.....where do i start.....bsides the norm for Q like baked beans ,smashed taters,cole slaw,there are also grandma favorites like corn pudding, mashed sweeet taters, squash cassarole and buttered green beans to name a few of the dozen or so homade daily sides. sauces vary daily for the ribs with just about anything you can think of for a sauce.......butterscotch, blackforest, pumpkin, cheerwine, honey onion, blueberry chipoltne for starters. then there are salads as well as sandwiches like the hogzilla, or a blt with fried green tomatoes and brown sugar spicy bacon and finished with some homade basil mayo i say they are great and check this out there is a sandcastle at the outside seating area so give them a try the only disappointment will be the line when you get there

The BBQ is OK, medium smokiness and prepared with a loose hand; It could be better smoked. Sides were not spectacular, but edible. Overall, not worth the drive, but OK if you are in the neighborhood

This is a fantastic place to get some good food on your lunch break. Friendly, fast service in a fun and casual environment. They have everything from sandwiches to ribs to salads, all prepared quickly and deliciously. It's always packed around lunch-time, but always worth the wait.
