Dady Rock, Cancun

I've been to Cancun 8 times and I go to Daddy Rocks everytime........it's the best..............not only because I know Dave(the drummer) but because the place is fun.....go, enjoy your self and DRINK ALLYOU CAN............

Daddy Rocks was great. You could't ask for better staff (especially ALBERTO!). All the staff were friendly, helpful and were always happy to get you what ever you wanted. You never had to wait on a fresh drink and the music was great. The live bands were great also. Okay the entertainment was not as good as Cocobongos but to be honest no club in Cancun could compete with it! If your looking for a great night of dancing and having a laugh Daddy Rocks is the place to be! Only $40 for all you can drink, now thats what we call a great night out!! Cant wait for 2008 to do it all over again!!!!

besides the city and bulldog cafe dady rock is one of my favorite clubs just got back from cancun on wednesday and i was missing it the moment we pulled away from the hotel dady rock has awesome service. i went to dady rock numerous times on this vacay and the service was awesome 2nd time i went back the waiter already knew what i wanted and took care of me. there is also some amazing eye candy bia the waiters and other males hot body contest was amazing

I went to Dady Rock during Spring Break 2006. The cover was $35 for all you could drink, just like it was everyhwere else that we went. Dady Rock is two stories with the top story overlooking the lower level. This place seemed much smaller than Dady O, Coco Bongo, and The City, but I could be wrong. Like most places a tip was required to get served at any of the bars and the bathroom attendents wanted tips for turning on the faucet. If you want to save money, don't wash your hands. There were a few gimmicks like a giant CO2 bottle that they used to shoot air at the crowd and they passed out balloons, but other bars did it better. Dady O was better with CO2 and Coco Bongo better with baloons. Wet Body contest- All night they hyped a "Wet Body Contest" that had a $1000 USD prize and that no photography was allowed. I'm a college student who has seen girls get naked for 2 bottles of Bud Light, taking into consideration the following: - It was Spring Break - We were in Mexico - $1000 prize - No photography I had VERY HIGH expectations for the contest. About 15 girls entered and they were immedietly narrowed down to a top 5, then 3, and then 1. For the contest they wore Corona bikinks and stood under a shower for a few seconds. The grils WERE NOT ALLOWED TO GET NAKED, but people were kicked out for taking pictures. Bottom line- the contest is the same a watching a girl get out of the pool. Dady Rock is an OK place to be in Cancun and is probably amazing compared to where you usually hang out, however, in there are better places to go on spring break.

Lots of people and if you don't mind standing...you'll have a great time... for the gals....the restroom was clean and not crowded....enjoyed the skits... can't wait to go back to Cancun!

The service at Daddy Rock was stellar, and for a little up-front cash and a good tip, you will be remembered and taken care of. Drinks were never allowed to get beneath the 1/2-full level, and the entertainment was decent. Knocks: Cleanliness was a little lacking, but that problem was due primarily to the crowds. The shows need upgraded if they wish to compete with Coco Bongo. There were too many 18-year olds flaunting their stick frames on stage, and for those who care, we witnessed 2 instances of sex on the dance floor, each with very young girls. All in all, if I have multiple nights in Cancun again, I'll go back to Daddy Rock, after I visit Coco Bongo. I'd place Coco at the top of the heap there, with Daddy Rock somewhere within the top 5 or so in terms of night clubs to visit.

We went with our hotel and we got a table. At our table they would just leave bottles of vodka and tequila and some beers so you never had to wait for a drink. They played a good mix of their bad and a dj. There was a wet body contest too. The girls were not good.
