Lucy's Doggy Daycare and Spa, San Antonio

We spent one and a half days touring San Antonio on our way to Arizona. Not wanting to leave our two mini dachshunds caged in a motel room for the time, we found Lucy's during a search for daycare on the internet. We boarded our two boys three times during our trip west and Lucy's was by far the best place. They came back to us happy and tired. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this downtown San Antonio location in a heartbeat.

I have been a long time customer of Lucy's at Thousand Oaks. During the holidays they were full and we had to board at their new downtown facility. I was pleasantly surprised to see the continued awesome services as well as some familiar smiling faces of employees. Me and my dog, Rocco, recommend Lucy's to anyone with dogs!

Lucy's Doggy Day Care is Arfin Awesome! Stole that one from the Lucy's bumper sticker I put on my car... Anyway, I have a 6 month lab puppy named Jackson who has a never ending supply of energy or so I thought. This dog has chewed more furniture and shoes than you can imagine. I don't have a back yard to put him in so a trainer friend of mine recommended putting him in a crate/kennel in my apartment and come home in the afternoon to let him out. I tried that but he was a mad man every time i cam home. Then my trainer recommended Lucy's doggy day care. I never thought anything could tire Jackson out. LUCY'S DID!! This place is a life saver!!

It is hard to leave your dogs when you go out of town, but when they do not want to leave and tug me to go back into the play ground that makes me feel so much better. The folks at Lucy's are SO nice, one of my dogs is scared to death of water and the sweet lady took her time and bathed him slowly letting him get used to it, and the groomer did a marvelous job. He looked so cute, and it was the first time he had gotten a hair cute and was so proud with his little bandana! I am truly very happy with the service and care my dogs have received at Lucy's!

Lucy's came highly recommended to me. I took my 2 dogs there 3 times for grooming. The staff was pleasant. Each of my dogs had anal gland infections and ruptures shortly after their grooming. My dogs have never had any problems like this before or after we stopped using Lucy's. I was very pleased with their grooming but I can not compromise the health of my dogs or the expense of vet bills each time after grooming. I am not sure if the infections were related to the expression or the lack of expression of the glands.

I recently had to board my dogs and found Lucy's. I can't say enough about how nice the staff was. They were just so friendly and sweet to my dogs. You could truly tell they enjoyed working with dogs. When I picked up my dogs, the staff had all sorts of stories to tell me about my kids. The funny part was, when I went to put them in the car, they began pulling me to the dog park to go play with their new friends!! That was a great sign and made me feel confident I made the right choice. Thanks to Lucy's staff for being so great to me and my two kids.

I just picked up my toy poodle today from Lucy's. I took him on Saturday to board him, & had him groomed before I picked him up today. Not only did he look FANTASTIC, he was super happy & excited! I had mentioned that I might want his hair cut a little shorter next time, & the receptionist AND owner insisted that I bring him back at my convenience either this week or even next week to have his hair cut shorter. They are always so friendly, polite & professional at Lucy's. I'll never go anywhere BUT Lucy's Doggy Day Care!

First impression was fantastic. Employee's and facility were great. Second impression was even better. My dog was having so much fun in the park when I went to pick up. I felt bad taking her home. Now she goes for day care a couple times a week.... I feel bad the days I can't take her... Anyway, we are so happy we found Lucy's!

What is this has to do with restaurants? I has inquired about best restaurants and this pop up on the list of restaurants for whatever the reason. Can anyone fix this bubu? Pedro R.

My family and I are going to New York, we will be gone 4 days, I have 2 boxer one male 80lbs and female 50lbs they are so spoiled and a little dog named buddy that is so wild, will they take care of them at lucy's? I'm afraid, my dogs are my world! I would like some advice please......
