The countrys only vegan resort, accommodations include wood burning fireplaces, HDTVs, DVDs, high speed wireless internet, iPod docking stations, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers supplied with fair trade organic coffees, and more. A complete country inn experience, guests enjoy complimentary organic gourmet breakfast cooked to order from the Stanford Inns extensive menu. Afternoons at the Inn offers guest a complimentary dessert special. A rich array of programs and activities include kayaking and canoeing on Big River estuary at the Inns Catch A Canoe and Bicycles, too. The Stanfords Mendocino Center for Living Well provides programs from gardening classes to nutrition. Guests may join the twice weekly harvest, tour the gardens, schedule nature walks, explore the bodys relationship to food in nutrition seminars, and take a yoga class. i agree completely with the previous writers comments. i found the wait-staff somewhat condescending regarding the what and why of some of the entre's. i have dined vegetarian several times and have never before felt that a question is unacceptable. and let's not forget the fact that you are paying a little more than top dollar for a plate of greens, or yellows or what ever the pick of the day might be. the sad part is that i live local and i always support the local business establishment. but having eaten there on more than one occasion,this review does seem to go against that. i feel your money would be better spent at mendo-burger.
