It's pricey but what seafood restaurant isn't. It usually cost around $32 (plus the tip) for me and my husband to eat here so we don't go too often. But the food is really good and you get a lot of it.
We were visiting Tyler for the weekend and decided to try this place. The country fried steak was excellent. My wife had the fish and shrimp combo and said that is was good also. My youngest daughter dropped her hamburger patty out of her burger on the floor and they gave us another hamburger at no charge. The service was great. The next time we are in Tyler we will definately eat here again.
we were visiting tyler and didnt know where to go eat. a lady at the front desk of our hotel recommended this place and im happy she did. everyone in my famiy (except me) got seafood and they said it was great. i am not a fan of sea food, but they had many other options as well. it was all great. our waiter was wonderful and the service overall was the best ive ever had.
We went here expecting more seafood than anything; that means seafood prepared in several different ways. I was disappointed to find that the majority of the seafood was deep-fried. While, yes, I as any true Southerner do enjoy fried catfish, occasionally I would like to see some grilled and sauteed options. Anyway, the experience was good, I just wished that the menu was more accomodating for those days you don't want to go deep-fried.
Excellent food except shrimp cocktail was overcooked a bit, nice ambience Well decorated. The prices were great for what you got and the service was awesome. I will definitely go there again and would recomend it to anyone.
