Carino's Italian, Billings

service was just ok. bathrooms were clean. the bread and oil were the only thing good there. We ordered the veggie rigatoni ($9), chicken milano ($12) and cedar plank salmon ($18) and shared. Every dish had tons of grease and oil. There was no real flavor except for butter and oil! They should have used spices to flavor it, not butter. It is expensive for what you get. I would not go there again. If you are visiting Billings, I suggest Bruno's or Olive Garden if you want Italian.

I'm not going to belabor the obvious. Johnny Carino's is, in my opinion, the best of the chain Italian restaurants. It's got more or less the same ambience as Macaroni Grill. The food is good, the portions plentiful. If you haven't been to Johnny's, it's time to take the family.
